- What age do you recommend for a child to start First Reader?
- First Reader should be used for ages 4, 5, 6 and 7 BEFORE a child is taught bad reading habits such as guessing. Turbo Reader should be used for children in the 3rd grade or up. (The principal difference between First Reader and Turbo Reader is the age-appropriate pictures.)
- Can First Reader or Turbo Reader be used for more than one child?
- First Reader and Turbo Reader can only be used for one child at a time. But both books can be used repeatedly for additional children.
- What does First Reader or Turbo Reader consist of?
- Both First Reader and Turbo Reader are 192-page, 4-color, beautiful books.
First Reader (first published in 1994 as a hardbound book) is now available in a new soft-cover, spiral-bound book. Turbo Reader is a hardbound book.
- How much is First Reader and Turbo Reader?

- Is there a Workbook?
- Yes. First Reader Workbook is available for $19.95. If shipped together with First Reader or Turbo Reader, the price is $9.95. Shipping included. First Reader Workbook is designed to teach the child to form the letters and assist with beginning reading. The pages match with First Reader. Each child needs his own Workbook. The Workbook is not designed for the older child using Turbo Reader, but can be useful in helping the child to form his letters and in practicing other reading exercises.

- Yes. But each child needs his own book.
